The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has announced that the Chief Justice, Justice Anin-Yeboah has given his approval for the establishment of a specialised court to address specific needs of the Creative Arts Industry, including dealing with copyright-related matters.

It is expected that this court will facilitate the effective and expeditious resolution of specific disputes that affect the creative arts industry to protect the rights and interests of creative practitioners. The modalities for the court are expected to be communicated within this legal year.
