We are celebrating these outstanding women, Justice Mariama Owusu, Justice Avril Lovelace Johnson and Justice Gertrude Torkornoo nominated by the president for appointment to the Supreme Court of Justice. If confirmed, they will be elevated from the Court of Appeal to the Supreme Court and will replace Justice Vida Akoto-Bamfo and Justice Sophia Adinyira who have retired and Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo who will retire in December 2019.
